Adding Value to the American Coating Industry

Offered in conjunction with the American Coatings SHOW, the American Coatings CONFERENCE invites the technical professionals supporting the coatings industry to learn about the most recent research results and industrial developments, covering the full range of coatings products and the wide range of raw materials used in their formulation.

From over 200 submissions, the ACC organizers have developed a diverse program of 96 high-level technical papers for oral presentation, each offering potential contributions that add value to the industry. 16 focused topical sessions will be held over the three-day conference. Presentations within each session describe new developments for specific coatings technologies and applications, important raw material research, and special topics which are intensively discussed in coatings research today. Sustainability approaches and the development of economically sound coating systems are also covered in the program.

Additionally, more than 25 equally interesting technical presentations from industry experts will be offered in a highly interactive poster environment.

For the first time at the ACC, a new focused session on “Science Today, Coatings Tomorrow” will provide a glimpse into what advanced polymer and material science research has in store for the coatings systems of the future.

Another first endeavor for the ACC is brought to you in cooperation with the world renowned Center for Innovation Management Studies (CIMS)! Registrants will be provided with access to a specialized, secure, confidential web site, where by answering a few simple questions, they can receive an assessment on their Innovation Management Fitness, and be able to compare their own confidential results to those of the Industry. A special breakfast session will allow participants to hear about the Industry analysis and ask questions of Dr. Paul Mugge, Director of CIMS.

Also prior to the main conference program, seven exclusive pre-conference tutorials have been organized, offering unique opportunities for industry professionals to become up-to-date on today’s most important coatings technologies.
