In May 2012: the trade show runs May 8-10, 2012 and the accompanying conference from May 7-9, 2012.

Tuesday + Wednesday, May 8+9, 2012 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Thursday, May 10, 2012 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

4. Is American Coatings SHOW an annual show?

No, it is held biannual, alternating with the big sister European Coatings SHOW, which is also held biannual and took place in 2009 and will take place again in 2011.

6. Who is the American Coatings Association (formerly NPCA|FSCT)?

The America Coatings Association is a voluntary, nonprofit organization working to advance the needs of the paint and coatings industry and the professionals who work in it. Through advocacy of the industry and its positions on legislative, regulatory, and judicial issues at the federal, state and local levels, it acts as an effective ally ensuring that the industry is represented and fairly considered. The association also devotes itself to advancing industry efforts with regard to product stewardship through its signature Coating Care® resources, and focuses on advancements in science and technology through its technical conferences and journals, as well as online training opportunities. 7. Who is Vincentz Network?

Vincentz Network is the leading information provider and contact mediator for six groups of experts:
Vincentz Network publishes journals, newsletters, books and working aids; organizes trade fairs, conferences and seminars; designs websites, e-learning and databases.

8. Is transportation provided to the convention center from my hotel?

Yes – attendees have shuttle busses available which run on different routes between the convention hotels and the convention center. The routes will be published in due time before the event starts.

9. How do I make hotel reservations?

Every registered visitor receives an access code from show management which allows booking housing online at www.american-coatings-show.com or by contacting the Charlotte Housing Bureau.

10. How do I obtain an invitation letter in order to get my visa to enter the US?

11. Where do I pick up my badge at the show?

Badges may be picked up at the registration counter at the Charlotte Convention Center.

12. How do I change the name on my badge?

For customer service related to your registration and badge you must contact the registration company by phone at 866-692-2071 or 980-233-3808 or you send a written request by fax to 980-233-3800.

13. May children be on the show floor?

At ACS children under the age of 16 are not permitted on the show floor.

14. As visitor, do I have to buy a conference ticket to attend the sessions?

Yes – the conference sessions are not free and visitors need to register to get tickets. Conference tickets are offered in different categories and prices depending on the sessions one would like to attend.

15. If I miss a conference session what can I do?

The conference organizer will offer recordings of all session for purchase after the event. Briefs of each session are available in print in the conference program.

16. Where do I get a show directory?

The show directory is available onsite in the Charlotte Convention Center and distributed free of charge.
